Othello, the Moor of Venice

Othello, the Moor of Venice is a tragedy by William Shakespeare. Othello, a retired officer, has married Desdemona against the wishes of her father. Iago is Othello's spiteful ensign, who encourages his master's jealousy until a set of blind rage ensues.
