Thus it not only affects students below college level (as last month’s eclipses did) but college-level students too. There are changes in educational plans and disruptions at school. If you are involved in legal issues they will take a dramatic turn one way or another – they will move forward.

Mercury, Jupiter and Mars are marginally affected by this eclipse. Thus there can be some minor financial disruption, more change in spiritual or charitable organizations you’re involved with, more dramas in the lives of gurus and guru figures, and more psychological confrontations with death.

Saturn moves away from his stressful aspect with you on July 1. Health, which has been good all year, gets even better – and it will be still be good even after the 23rd when the Sun makes a stressful aspect with you. True, it is not one of your best health periods, but nothing serious seems to be happening there. You can enhance your health even further through arm and shoulder massage. Shoulder massage will also help the neck, which is always important for Taureans.

Finances are good this month. Venus will spend all month in your money house again. This shows your focus. By the spiritual law we get what we focus on. It also indicates gaining money from work. Your good work ethic is money in the bank. Your financial planet Mercury will spend the month in your 3rd house. This favours trading, retailing, buying and selling. It favours a good marketing and advertising strategy for whatever you are doing. Until the 12th your financial intuition is good; afterwards it needs some verification. The only financial complication – aside from the eclipse of the 5th – is Mercury’s retrograde on the 12th. Avoid making major purchases or investments after that date: try to wrap things up before then.

You are entering the midnight hour of your year, beginning on the 23rd. But this midnight hour is different to most. You’re not soundly asleep. Planetary retrograde activity is very intense this month. From the 15th onwards half the planets are in retrograde motion. This is not quite the maximum for the year but we’re close to it. Things slow down in the world. Taurus handles this slow down better than most. You are patient by nature.

The upper half of your chart – the day side – is still stronger than the lower half. But the retrograde planets are all in the upper half of your chart. Even your career planet, Uranus, is retrograde from the 15th onwards. So you may as well focus on the home, family and your emotional wellness. Career issues will need time to resolve.

Venus has been in your money house for four months now, but on the 7th she moves into your 3rd house of communication and intellectual interests. So you are more focused on these things. You’re reading more, studying more, talking more and connecting more with others. It is a good transit for students below college level and for marketing people, PR people and retailers. Your mind is sharper now and the communication skills more enhanced.

Health is good overall but this is not one of your best health months. You will feel the difference after the 22nd when your health and energy return to their usual levels. Finances are not a major interest after the 7th but still look good. Mercury is now moving speedily. You make quick progress. You have multiple paths to earnings. The Western, social sector of your chart increased in strength last month and this month it is even stronger. It is now the dominant sector. Mercury will go retrograde on the 14th so important purchases and investments should be made before then. Mercury spends almost the entire month in your 7th house of love (until the 28th). So, like last month, your social grace and social connections are important in finance. Often there are opportunities for business partnerships or joint ventures under this transit, but these should be studied carefully, especially after the 14th. A very eventful month that portends changes not only for this immediate period but for all of next year as well. First off, two long-term planets change signs this month. Saturn will leave your 9th house, after two years there, and enter your 10th on the 18th, and Jupiter will move into your 10th house on the 20th, and will spend practically all of 2021 in your career house. Secondly, we will have our final eclipse of the year on December 14. This will be a solar eclipse that occurs in your 8th house. The shift of a long-term planet is always a headline. Likewise an eclipse.

With Jupiter in your 10th house, career is going to be very successful going into next year. Yes, you will earn it, but success will happen. There are also likely to be surgery or near-death kinds of experiences in the lives of bosses, parents or parent figures. There will be much dealing with death and issues to do with death in the coming year.

The solar eclipse of the 14th can bring confrontations with death, although usually on the psychological level. The cosmos wants you to have a better understanding of it. Understanding a Gemini
