Mk 8,16 Und sie gedachten hin und her und sprachen untereinander: Das ist es, daß wir nicht Brot haben.

KJV + EL = And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have no bread.

Mk 8,17 Und Jahschua merkte das und sprach zu ihnen: Was bekümmert ihr euch doch, daß ihr nicht Brot habt? Vernehmet ihr noch nichts und seid noch nicht verständig? Habt ihr noch ein erstarrtes Herz in euch?

Mk 8,21 Und er sprach zu ihnen: Wie vernehmt ihr denn nichts/ versteht ihr noch nichts?

Heilung eines Blinden.

Healing of a blind man.

Mk 8,22 Und er kam gen Bethsaida. Und sie brachten zu ihm einen Blinden und baten ihn, daß er ihn anrührte.

KJV + EL = And he came to Bethsaida; and they brought a blind man to him, and besought him to touch him.

Kap 6,56

Mk 8,23 Und er nahm den Blinden bei der Hand und führte ihn hinaus vor den Flecken (aus dem Dorfe); spützte in seine Augen und legte seine Hände auf ihn und fragte ihn, ob er etwas sähe?

Mk 8,24 Und er sah auf und sprach: Ich sehe Menschen gehen, als sähe ich Bäume.

Mk 8,25 Danach legte er abermals die Hände auf seine Augen und hieß ihn abermals sehen; und er wurde wieder zurechtgebracht, daß er alles scharf sehen konnte.

Mk 8,26 Und er schickte ihn heim und sprach: Gehe nicht hinein in den Flecken (das Dorf) und sage es auch niemand drinnen (im Dorf).

KJV + EL = And he sent him away to his house, saying, Neither go into the town, nor tell it to any in the town.

Mk 8,27 Und Jahschua ging aus mit seinen Jüngern in die Märkte der Stadt Cäsarea Philippi. Und auf dem Wege fragte er seine Jünger und sprach zu ihnen: Was sagen die Leute, wer ich bin?

KJV + EL = And Yahshua went out, and his disciples, into the towns of Caesarea Philippi: and by the way he asked his disciples, saying to them, Whom do men say that I am?

Mk 8,28 Sie antworteten: Sie sagen du bist Johannes der Täufer; etliche sagen, du bist Elia; etliche, du bist der Propheten einer.

KJV + EL = And they answered, John the Baptist: but some say, EliYah; and others, One of the prophets.

Erste Leidensankündigung.

First announcement of suffering.

Mk 8,31 Und er hob an sie zu lehren: Des Menschen Sohn muß viel leiden und verworfen werden von den Ältesten und Hohenpriestern und Schrift-gelehrten und getötet werden und über drei Tage auferstehen.

KJV + EL = And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.

Mk 8,32 Und er redete das Wort frei offenbar. Und Petrus nahm ihn zu sich, fing an, ihm zu wehren.

KJV + EL = And he spoke that saying openly. And Peter took him, and began to rebuke him.

Mk 8,33 Er aber wandte sich um und sah seine Jünger an und bedrohte Petrus und sprach: Gehe hinter mich, du Satan! denn du meinst nicht, was von Elohim ist (göttlich), sondern was menschlich ist.

SCHLACHTER 1905 = Er aber wandte sich um und sah seine Jünger an und beschalt den Petrus, und sprach: Hebe dich weg von mir, Satan! denn du denkst nicht göttlich, sondern menschlich!

KJV + EL = But when he had turned about, and seeing his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get you behind me, Satan: for you mind not the things of Elohim, but the things of men.

Mk 8,34 Und er rief zu sich das Volk samt seinen Jüngern und sprach zu ihnen: Wer mir will nachfolgen, der verleugne sich selbst und nehme sein Kreuz auf sich und folge mir nach.

KJV + EL = And when he called the people to him with his disciples also, he said to them, Whoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his burden, and follow me.

Mk 8,35 Denn wer sein Leben will behalten, der wird es verlieren; und wer sein Leben verliert um meinet- und des Evangeliums willen, der wird es behalten.

KJV + EL = For whoever will save his life shall lose it; but whoever shall lose his life for my sake and the evangel's, the same shall save it.

Matth 10,39

Mk 8,36 Was hülfe es dem Menschen, wenn er die ganze Welt gewönne, und nähme an seiner Seele Schaden?

KJV + EL = For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

Mk 8,37 Oder was kann der Mensch geben, damit er seine Seele löse.

KJV + EL = Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Mk 8,38 Wer sich aber mein und meiner Worte schämt unter diesem ehebrecherischen und sündigen Geschlecht, des wird sich auch des Menschen Sohn schämen, wenn er kommen wird in der Herrlichkeit seines Vaters mit den heiligen Engeln.

KJV + EL = Whoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

Chapter/Kapitel 9

Mk 9,1 Und er sprach zu ihnen: Wahrlich ich sage euch: Es stehen etliche hier, die werden den Tod nicht schmecken, bis daß sie sehen das Reich JAHWEH’s mit seiner Kraft kommen.

KJV + EL = And he said to them, Truly I say to you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of YAHWEH come with power.

Die Verherrlichung Jahschuas.

The glorification of Yahshua.

(Matth. 17,1-13; Luk. 9,28-36)

Mk 9,2 Und nach sechs Tagen nahm Jahschua zu sich Petrus, Jakobus und Johannes und führte sie auf einen hohen Berg besonders allein und verherrlichte (verklärte) sich vor ihnen.

KJV + EL = And after six days Yahshua took with him Peter, and Jacob, and John; and led them up into a high mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured before them;

Mk 9,3 Und seine Kleider wurden hell und sehr weiß wie der Schnee, daß sie kein Färber auf Erden kann so weiß machen.

KJV + EL = And his garments became shining, exceeding white as snow; so as no fuller on earth can whiten them.

Mk 9,4 Und es erschien ihnen Elia mit Mose und hatten eine Rede mit Jahschua.

KJV + EL = And there appeared to them EliYah with Moses: and they were talking with Yahshua.

Mk 9,5 Und Petrus antwortete und sprach zu Jahschua: Rabbi, hier ist gut sein. Lasset uns drei Hütten machen: dir eine, Mose eine und Elia eine.

KJV + EL = And Peter answered and said to Yahshua, Rabbi, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for you, and one for Moses, and one for EliYah.

Mk 9,6 Er wußte aber nicht, was er redete; denn sie waren bestürzt.

KJV + EL = For he wist not what to say; for they were sore afraid.

Mk 9,7 Und es kam eine Wolke, die überschattete sie. Und eine Stimme fiel aus der Wolke:

Dies ist

mein geliebter (lieber) Sohn,

auf ihn sollt ihr hören!

KJV + EL = And there came a cloud that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying,

This is

my beloved Son:

hear him/ him shall you hear!

Kap 1,11; 2. Petr 1,17

Mk 9,8 Und bald danach sahen sie um sich und sahen niemand mehr denn allein Jahschua bei ihnen.

KJV + EL = And suddenly, when they had looked round about, they saw no man any more, save Yahshua only with themselves.

Mk 9,9 Da sie aber vom Berge herabgingen, verbot ihnen Jahschua, daß sie niemand sagen sollten, was sie gesehen hatten, bis des Menschen Sohn auferstünde von den Toten.

KJV + EL = And as they came down from the mountain, he charged them that they should tell no man what things they had seen, till the Son of man were risen from the dead.

Kap 8,30

Mk 9,10 Und sie behielten das Wort bei sich und befragten sich untereinander: Was ist doch das Auferstehen von den Toten?

KJV + EL = And they kept that saying with themselves, questioning one with another what the rising from the dead should mean.

Mk 9,11 Und sie fragten ihn und sprachen: Sagen doch die Schriftgelehrten, daß Elia muß zuvor kommen.

KJV + EL = And they asked him, saying, Why say the scribes that Eliyah must first come?

Mk 9,12 Er antwortete aber und sprach zu ihnen: Elia soll ja zuvor kommen und alles wieder zurechtbringen; dazu soll des Menschen Sohn viel leiden und verachtet werden, wie denn geschrieben steht.

KJV + EL = And he answered and told them, Eliyah truly comes first, and restores all things; and how it is written of the Son of man, that he must suffer many things, and be treated with contempt.

Mk 9,13 Aber ich sage euch: Elia ist gekommen, und sie haben an ihm getan, was sie wollten, nach dem von ihm geschrieben steht.

KJV + EL = But I say to you, That EliYah is indeed come, and they have done to him whatever they listed/ desired, as it is written of him.

Mk 9,14 Und er kam zu seinen Jüngern und sah viel Volks um sie und Schriftgelehrte, die sich mit ihnen befragten.

KJV + EL = And when he came to his disciples, he saw a great multitude about them, and the scribes questioning with them.

Mk 9,15 Und alsbald, da alles Volk ihn sah, entsetzten sie sich, liefen zu und grüßten ihn.

ELBERFELDER 1871 = Und alsbald, als die ganze Volksmenge ihn sah, waren sie sehr erstaunt; und sie liefen herzu und begrüßten ihn.

Mk 9,16 Und er fragte die Schriftgelehrten: Was befragt ihr euch mit ihnen?

KJV + EL = And he asked the scribes, What question you with them?

Mk 9,17 Einer aber aus dem Volk antwortete und sprach: Meister, ich habe meinen Sohn hergebracht zu dir, der hat einen sprachlosen Geist.

KJV + EL = And one of the multitude answered and said, Master, I have brought to you my son, which has a dumb spirit;

Mk 9,18 Und wo er ihn erwischt, da reißt er ihn; und er schäumt und knirscht mit den Zähnen und verdorrt. Ich habe mit deinen Jüngern geredet, daß sie ihn austrieben, und sie können es nicht.

KJV + EL = And wherever he takes him, he dashes him down: and he foams, and gnashes with his teeth, and pines away: and I spoke to your disciples that they should cast him out; and they could not.

Mk 9,19 Er antwortete ihm aber und sprach: O du ungläubiges Geschlecht, wie lange soll ich bei euch sein? wie lange soll ich euch tragen? Bringt ihn her zu mir!

KJV + EL = He answered him, and said, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him to me!

Mk 9,20 Und sie brachten ihn her zu ihm. Und alsbald, da ihn der Geist sah, riß er ihn; und er fiel auf die Erde und wälzte sich und schäumte.

KJV + EL = And they brought him to him: and when he saw him, immediately the spirit tare him; and he fell on the ground, and wallowed foaming.

Mk 9,21 Und er fragte seinen Vater: Wie lange ist es, daß es ihm widerfahren ist? Er sprach: Von Kind auf.

KJV + EL = And he asked his father, How long is it ago since this came to him? And he said, From a child.

Mk 9,22 Und oft hat er ihn in Feuer und Wasser geworfen, daß er ihn umbrächte. Kannst du aber was, so erbarme dich unser und hilf uns!

KJV + EL + WEBSTER = And often it has cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if you can do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us!

Mk 9,23 SCHLACHTER 1905 = Jahschua aber sprach zu ihm: Das kommt darauf an, ob du glauben kannst! Wer glaubt, dem ist alles möglich! -

KJV + EL = Yahshua said to him, If you can believe! all things are possible to him that believes!

Mk 9,24 Und als bald (sogleich) schrie der Vater des Kindes mit Tränen: Ich glaube, lieber HErr, hilf meinem Unglauben!

KJV + EL = And immediately the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Master, I believe; help my unbelief!

Mk 9,25 Da nun Jahschua sah, daß das Volk zulief, bedrohte er den unsauberen Geist und sprach zu ihm: Du sprachloser und tauber Geist, ich gebiete dir, daß du von ihm ausfahrest und fahrest hinfort nicht in ihn!

KJV + EL = When Yahshua saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying to him, You dumb and deaf spirit, I charge / command you, come out of him, and enter no more into him.

Mk 9,26 Da schrie er und riß ihn sehr und fuhr aus. Und er wurde, als wäre er tot, daß auch viele sagten: Er ist tot.

KJV + EL + WESLEY 1755 = And the spirit cried out, and rent him sore, and came out of him: and he was as one dead; so that many said, He is dead.

Kap 1,26

Mk 9,27 Jahschua aber ergriff ihn bei der Hand und richtete ihn auf; und er stand auf.

KJV + EL = But Yahshua took him by the hand, and lifted him up; and he arose.

Mk 9,28 Und da er heimkam, fragten ihn seine Jünger besonders: Warum konnten wir ihn nicht austreiben?

KJV + EL = And when he was come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, Why could not we cast him out?

Mk 9,29 Und er sprach: Diese Art kann mit nichts ausfahren denn durch Beten und Fasten.

KJV + EL = And he said to them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.

Mk 9,30 Und sie gingen von da hinweg und wandelten durch Galiläa; und er wollte nicht, daß es jemand wissen sollte.

KJV + EL = And they departed there, and passed through Galilee; and he would not that any man should know it.

Mk 9,31 Er lehrte aber seine Jünger und sprach zu ihnen: Des Menschen Sohn wird überantwortet werden in der Menschen Hände, und sie werden ihn töten; und wenn er getötet ist, so wird er am dritten Tage auferstehen.

KJV + EL = For he taught his disciples, and said to them, The Son of man is delivered into the hands of men, and they shall kill him; and after that he is killed, he shall rise the third day.

Kap 8,31; 10,32-34

Mk 9,32 Sie aber verstanden das Wort nicht, und fürchteten sich, ihn zu fragen.

KJV + EL = But they understood not that saying, and were afraid to ask him.

Luk 18,34

Mk 9,33 Und er kam gen Kapernaum. Und da er daheim war, fragten er sie: Was handeltet ihr miteinander auf dem Wege?

KJV + EL = And he came to Capernaum: and being in the house he asked them, What was it that you disputed among yourselves by the way?

Mk 9,34 Sie aber schwiegen; denn sie hatten miteinander auf dem Wege gehandelt, welcher der Größte wäre.

KJV + EL = But they held their peace: for by the way they had disputed among themselves, who should be the greatest.

Mk 9,35 SCHLACHTER 1905 = Und er setzte sich und rief den Zwölfen und sprach zu ihnen: So Jemand der Erste sein will, der sei unter allen der Letzte und aller Diener.

KJV + EL = And he sat down, and called the twelve, and said to them, If any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all.

Kap 10,44; Matth 20,27

Mk 9,36 Und er nahm ein Kindlein und stellte es mitten unter sie und herzte es und sprach zu ihnen:

KJV + EL = And he took a child, and set him in the midst / middle of them: and when he had taken him in his arms, he said to them,

Mk 9,37 Wer ein solches Kindlein in meinem Namen aufnimmt, der nimmt mich auf; und wer mich aufnimmt, der nimmt nicht mich auf, sondern den, der mich gesandt hat.

KJV + EL = Whoever shall receive one of such little children in my name, receives me: and whoever shall receive me, receives not me, but him that sent me.

Matth 10,40

Mk 9,38 Johannes aber antwortete ihm und sprach: Meister, wir sahen einen, der trieb Dämonen in deinem Namen aus, welcher uns nicht nachfolgt; und wir verboten es ihm, darum daß er uns nicht nachfolgt.

4. Mose 11,27.28

Mk 9,39 Jahschua aber sprach: Ihr sollt es ihm nicht verbieten. Denn es ist niemand, der eine Tat tue in meinem Namen, und möge bald übel von mir reden.

KJV + EL = But Yahshua said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a mighty work in my name, that can lightly/ readily speak evil of me.

Mk 9,40 Denn wer nicht gegen uns ist, der ist für uns.

KJV + EL = For he that is not against us is for us.

Matth 12,30; Luk 11,23

Mk 9,41 Wer aber euch tränkt mit einem Becher Wassers in meinem Namen, darum daß ihr dem Messias angehöret, wahrlich, ich sage euch, es wird ihm nicht unvergolten bleiben.

KJV + EL = For whoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because you belong to the Messiah, truly I say to you, he shall not lose his reward.

Warnung vor Ärgernissen.

Warning against offences.

(Matth. 18,6-9; Luk. 17,1.2)

Mk 9,42 Und wer der Kleinen einen ärgert, die an mich glauben, dem wäre es besser, daß ihm ein Mühlstein an seinen Hals gehänget und er ins Meer geworfen würde.

KJV + EL = And whoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a great millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.

Mk 9,43 SCHLACHTER 1905 = Und wenn deine Hand dich zum Ärgerniß macht, so haue sie ab! Es ist besser für dich, daß du als ein Krüppel in das Leben eingehest, als daß du beide Hände habest und fahrest in das unauslöschliche Feuer,

KJV + EL = And if your hand offend you, cut it off! It is better for you to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into Gehenna, into the fire that never shall be quenched.

Matth 5,30

Mk 9,44 Wo ihr Wurm nicht stirbt und ihr Feuer nicht erlischt.

KJV + EL = Where the worm dies not, and the fire is not quenched.

Mk 9,45 Wenn dich dein Fuß zum Abfall verführt, so haue ihn ab! Es ist besser für dich, daß du lahm zum Leben eingehst, als daß du zwei Füße hast und wirst in das Gehenna geworfen, in das ewige Feuer.

KJV + EL = And if your foot offend you, cut it off! It is better for you to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into the Gehenna, into the fire that never shall be quenched:

Mk 9,46 Wo ihr Wurm nicht stirbt und ihr Feuer nicht erlischt.

KJV + EL = Where their worm dies not, and the fire is not quenched.
