Like the other books of Motor Tours, this enjoyable volume is specifically written for those who appreciate knowing something about the history and antiquities of the locations through which they pass and those who are fans of stunning scenery. At the same time, all the main roads of Devon and Cornwall are examined in exceptional detail, and even though Somerset is not thoroughly dealt with in this work, there are two chapters on that county.
