'The Intrusion of Jimmy' is a mystery novel set in New York City. Jimmy Pitts, a young man well-liked by his friends had been different things in life, from a journalist, a jeweler, and even a law student at Yale. Now he was wealthy, supposedly courtesy of a generous inheritance. Having recently returned from a trip overseas, he make a strange bet with his friends, that he could successfully burgle a house or else he would be forced buy them a good dinner.
