Over the course of a year, we follow the protagonist through the working world of a large corporation from different perspectives.

Its characteristic challenges – an excessive workload and drastic power structures – unfold in the course of the narrative into a socio-psychological odyssey through hope, anger and passion.

Initially eager and mobilized by a high degree of identification with the corporate world, the protagonist successfully climbs the career ladder. But the absurd internal pressure becomes unbearable, and he is increasingly broken by his boss's aggression and the tangled web of corporate entanglements.

Outraged, the once so committed man finally turns away and begins his concentrated discourse.
