Around the World in Eighty Days

The book tells the story of Phileas Fogg, an English gentleman, who makes a fantastic trip as a bet. His adventures, with his French manservant Passepartout, by railway, steamship and elephant, see him travel around the world pursued relentlessly by a detective who mistakes him for a notorious criminal.
