"The Booklover and His Books" is an analysis of book-producing art by Harry Lyman Koopman, the librarian at Brown University, who spent his life dealing with books, analyzing their immense value for the progress of human civilization and thinking on the ways of improvement of the book producing art, like developing reader-friendly fonts, bindings, etc. He concluded years of his recollection in the presented volume, which includes some passages on the book producing art and his suggestions for further development.
