The people have risen up against their nobles and the King has been imprisoned by the revolutionaries. Many have lost their lives. But just when the citizens of Perugia think that things are going to get better, their leader Pietro Folchi is proclaimed the new King. And as he moves to consolidate his power, he has a shocking request to the former King, now his prisoner…
