The Man from Jericho

'The Man from Jericho' is a romance novel set in the town of Macon in Kentucky. Julia Dudley is the beloved daughter of Major Dudley, and she is not unpleasant to look at. Meanwhile a young man from Jericho Dr. Glenning has come into town to become the town's new doctor. A fire at the Dudley ranch sees Glenning rush in to save the Dudleys' prized horse. But if the young doctor wants a chance at love with Julia, he will have to earn his respect, not least with the older retired and tough-talking Doctor Kale.
