Edgar Wallace belonged to the same genre of writing as Jules Verne, and this adventure novel is set at the time of the Russian Revolution and introduces us to a whole collection of very different characters who become involved with the protagonist, a young 22-year-old who while working for a Russian/English oil company, has the most incredible adventures.
