Ancient Apostles

Ancient Apostles was written as one of the series of textbooks designed for use in the Sunday Schools of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It presented a concise version of the leading incidents in the lives of the Chief Apostles of Christ in the Holy Land. The goal was to develop faith in the children's hearts for the principles of the Gospel and the religious organization of the Church. Each chapter in the book is planned to emphasize one general aim concerning the incidents with which the personality of the Apostle and his companions were associated.
