"A Master Hand" is a mystery novel that keeps you guessing without relying on cliched characters. It tells about a man found murdered after evening playing cards with four friends. Circumstantial evidence points clearly to one man; however, he protests his innocence. A detective, his assistant, and an attorney are convinced he is not the guilty man and work to find the actual murderer. It is an excellent story with a surprising outcome.
