Practical School Discipline: Introductory Course

Written by Ray Coppock Beery, an Ivy-League educated academician, the Practical School Discipline is an account of Beery's research into the disciplinary actions of teachers across the United States between the late 1800s to the early 1900s. Of note is Beery's approach to the study, where he dissects not only how the teachers discipline the students, but also the underlying reasoning behind why they do them and the approaches the teachers use to correct the behaviors of the students.
