As one can guess from the title, this book tells the author's experiences of traveling throughout Morocco, which at the time, was an empire. The author was a medical doctor who was stationed in Gibraltar and was acquainted with the ruling Emperor of Morocco. The places he visited while he was in Morocco include Tangiers, Fez, Mequinez, and Larache.
