Foreword

Higher powers have their own plans for us, which can be fulfilled with a particular person; therefore, it is not always possible to marry someone out of great love or personal desire. A partner may reveal certain qualities within us that will help us become who we are meant to become in this incarnation and do what we are meant to do, while we, in turn, will help them. All of this can be seen in the natal chart and Navamsha of each partner, as well as through synastry.

Zodiac Sign Compatibility According to the Ascendant

This book explores the possibilities for the development of relationships between representatives of each zodiac sign and representatives of all the other signs. This can be examined according to the partners’ Ascendants, and it can also be checked by comparing the position of one partner’s Moon with the position of the other partner’s Moon in their natal charts. Following the same principle, the positions of Venus, the Sun, and Mars can also be examined.

The Ascendant represents only a partial characterization of a person. When analyzing relationships, it is necessary to take into account all the planets in a person’s natal chart and to examine where the ruler of the Ascendant (the first house) is located. For example, a person with a Pisces Ascendant and three planets in Sagittarius may possess more Sagittarius qualities than Pisces qualities. Or, for example, if a person has a Capricorn Ascendant while the ruler of the Ascendant is in Pisces, their character will display not only the qualities of Capricorn but also those of Pisces.

The partner’s house is located in the natal chart opposite the house of the self (the first house, the Ascendant) and points to qualities that are opposite to our own—the character traits of a partner that may not be so easy for us to accept. I have often noticed that regardless of your partner’s Ascendant, they frequently behave toward you in accordance with your seventh house, because these are the qualities that you need to work through within yourself and learn to accept. One of the tasks of a soul incarnating on Earth is to learn acceptance, which can only be achieved through relationships. However, this does not mean that one should live with a partner, or tolerate any other person, who is destroying them. Learning not to become attached is also one of the tasks of a human being on Earth.

Therefore, those who avoid personal relationships because of problems will still, sooner or later, have to enter into relationships and resolve these problems—if not in this incarnation, then in subsequent ones—but later it will be even more difficult to do so.

The renowned hypnotherapist Michael Newton, who developed a method of spiritual regression for studying life between incarnations, wrote in his books that, in order for the soul to leave the wheel of Samsara, a person must learn acceptance and also learn not to envy. He knew many people who had learned, in one of their incarnations, not to be envious, but only a few had managed to learn acceptance.

Compatibility of a Woman with an Aries Ascendant with Men of All Ascendants

The sign of Aries is ruled by the planet Mars. An Aries woman is very active, can be impulsive, and leaves her partner if she does not love him. She does not pretend that she is interested in a man. She needs a partner who will be by her side but will not suppress her or lecture her, and who will allow her to do what she enjoys.
