The Thirteen Travellers

Hugh Walpole, the author of «Thirteen Travelers,» was a master of social observation. This book consists of 12 fine tales of supernatural horror, which render a humorous depiction of post-WWI society. This 1920 collection also includes «Lizzie Rand,» known as one of his most successful excursions into the unknown. Other famous stories are «Absalom Jay,» «Mr. Nix,» «Nobody,» «Lucy Moon,» and «Bombastes Furioso.»
