On a black, rain-lashed night, a man loses his footing at the cliff edge. As he slides towards death, two strong tendrils snake down from above and haul him upwards.So begins an action-packed week as two worlds race against time to confront evil, discover the best and the worst of themselves and learn what is truly important.With allies like a long-dead vicar, some refugee mice and a three-legged cat who really likes hats, can the Knobbled Gribbyn and the man he has rescued do enough to save lives and protect the Headland?
