Auntie Robbo

This is an adventure novel that tells the story of Hector, an 11-year-old boy. He lives near Edinburgh with his great auntie Robbo, who is in her eighties. They get along fantastically well. A woman calling herself his stepmother arrives from England, whom he has never met before. She decides to adopt him. She objects to Hector's carefree lifestyle with his quirky elderly aunt and wishes to send him to an English school. She intends to place Auntie Robbo in a home. Hector and Auntie Robbo decide to run away, starting a series of adventures. Will Hector's stepmother catch up to them?
